DG has over 30 years of experience co-founding, leading, and acquiring multiple businesses in various industries. His industry experience includes travel management, technology, publishing, manufacturing, professional sports, and staffing. DG’s degrees include a BBA from Southern Methodist University, an MBA from the Indiana University Kelly School of Business, and a law degree from the IU Maurer School of Law. DG and his wife, Gini, live in Bloomington, Ind. and have six children. DG is the Chair of The Navigators’ U.S. Board of Directors, an international Christian organization.
The Gayle and Bill Cook Center for Entrepreneurship's signature event was launched in 2010 by Ivy Tech Bloomington to bring students, entrepreneurs, and the community together in a forum to share the vision for the Cook Center and hear from entrepreneurial leaders about the importance of supporting innovation and free enterprise.
The Cook Center event is a demonstration of support for entrepreneurial education at Ivy Tech. Funds raised support students and client programs at the Cook Center.
